On The Counter, Avocados Do Better
The fridge is definitely not the right place to choose if you have some unripe avocados that you want to ripen up. Avocados ripen more slowly in a cold place. On your counter in the open air, in a cool, dry place, that’s where you should leave your avocados.
And before they get too ripe make sure to eat them. You can pop them in the fridge to slow down that process if you feel like your avocados are starting to get too ripe because there’s nothing worse than an overripe avocado.
