Keep Bananas Out In The Open
When they are kept out of the fridge, bananas hold on to their nutrients better. As we’ve learned with the avocados, cold temperatures actually slow down the ripening process. Yet, the moisture in most refrigerators can cause bananas to turn brown or even black.
Sliced into small pieces and stored in plastic bags in the freezer, is the best thing to do to it if you really want to keep bananas around for a long time. Frozen bananas are perfect for smoothies.
