Substitute Conditioner For Shaving Cream

If you don’t have any shaving cream on hand, use conditioner instead. Conditioner is designed to hydrate hair once it is absorbed, and it will do the same for body hair. Plus, it is thick enough to imitate shaving cream in a pinch.
Use conditioner in the same way as shaving cream: slather a layer in between your skin and the razor. Avoid body wash, as it can clog razor blades, dermatologist Annie Chiu. And use shaving cream whenever you can.
