Remove Makeup With Lotion

If you run out of makeup remover, use lotion instead. A water-soluble lotion is thick and moist enough to dislodge makeup. You just need one pump of lotion, about the size of a quarter.
Apply the lotion to the skin, and use a cotton pad or your fingers to rub it around gently. Preferably, you should use a face lotion that will not clog your pores. After wiping off your makeup, wash your face as usual.
